Raised: $973,149 from the two homes, with 100% of proceeds donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Marnella Homes has built two St. Jude Dream Home Showplace homes. Our trades, vendors and national partners donated labor, materials and services, and 100% of the proceeds from each sale went to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Together the two homes raised $973,149.
The Sedona (2021) was a southwestern-inspired single-level home shown in the NW Natural Parade of Homes. It paired an open great room and kitchen with a large outdoor living space. It was built using green building techniques and products from some of the most respected manufacturers in the industry.
The Sana (2023) takes its name from the Italian word for “healthy”. It was shown at the GRO Parade of Homes in the Ashbury community in Vancouver, Washington. It is a single-level mid-century modern home on a large, flat lot backing onto a city park with mountain views. The great room and kitchen sit under high ceilings between the owners’ and guests’ sleeping areas. A large LaCantina bi-fold door opens the gathering area onto the covered rear patio.
The Sana’s health and performance features were part of the design from the start: a whole-home water purification system, full-home air management, an interior grow center in the pantry, and enough solar to offset all of the home’s power needs.
